Filey has two winners because there is two groups in Filey every Thursday 10.ooam and 6.30pm members from each group voted for who they felt was the most inspirational or in their opinion deserved to win.
The morning group winner was Rita Beckett who joined at the beginning of February and has now lost 5stone she joined because she was told she was to overweight to have a knee operation now 5 stone lighter the problem with her knee is solved and she no longer requires the operation. I am very pleased that she found the food optimising Extra Easy plan as easy to follow as it’s name implies, she has kirbed her sweet tooth by eating loads of fresh fruit salad and low fat yoghurt, but still has a full English breakfast every morning and plans her entire family’s meals round Slimming Worlds Extra Easy plan. Other members nominated and therefore runners up were Kairen Sellers and Andrea Hammond.

The evening group winner was the lovely Gemma Benson who has lost 2stone 10.5 lb since she joined in March and the runners up are Gaynia Chatt, Mary Stringer, Julie Teahan and Brenda Rand all have done extremely well and have been nominated for Woman of the Year the final vote for Gemma was well deserved. Everyone gave an account of why they joined Slimming World and how losing weight had changed the way they feel as well as how they look.
